Frameworks exhibition. Falmouth Art Gallery.
17th September until 19th November 2011.

We travelled to Falmouth in Cornwall on Friday 16th September to attend the Private View of the Frameworks Exhibition.
Both my partner Nicola Donovan & I have a piece of work included in the show.
It was originally commissioned by Brian Stewart and will now be part of the permanent collection.
The exhibition is accompanied by a hard back book including the image and we were very flattered to find ourselves hanging next to a Gainsborough.
The image is entitled "Daughters" and is a portrait of Nicola's daughter Ruby and Ruby's daughter Ivy.
In the image both Ruby & Ivy are wearing lace some of which is from the lace archives of Nottingham Trent University where Nicola has been awarded a prestigious PHD Bursary.

The picture above shows Nicola and her mother Sandy in front of "Daughters"
Four generations of females from the same family.

Dawn & Bryan's Wedding-8th July 2011.

Eight hears ago I was commissioned to photograph the wedding of a wonderful couple called Fiona & Paul.
It was a great day and I entered a number of images for the Mario Acerboni 3in1 Wedding Award which they subsequently won.

Eight years later I received an e-mail from Fiona's sister Dawn asking if I could photograph her wedding.
It was wonderful to be remembered after such a long time and it was a great pleasure to say yes.
So it was a trip down to Cornwall and to St Colon Church and the Headland Hotel, Newquay.
The service held by Revd Chris McQuillan Wright,(who also married Fiona and Paul), was both individual and special. The day was a really wonderful occasion. It was great to catch up with so many people and to meet Fiona & Paul's son Osbert.
Dawn & Bryan were great fun and wonderful to work with and we wish them both congratulations and good luck with their imminent move to Dubai.
Here's a selection of images from their day....

Amy & Sandy's Wedding - 17th August 2011.

Another fabulous wedding. This time at Kingscote Barn in the Cotswolds.
A huge thank you to Kelly and her staff at the barn, the lovely registrars from Gloucestershire Registry Office, the friends and family of the Bride & Groom and most of all to Amy & Sandy for such a fantastic day.
Apparently it poured down in both Bristol & Bath but apart from a little drissle we had a fabulous day.
Here's a selection of images from the day.
Amy & Sandy if you are looking at this while on honeymoon, thank you and congratulations!!!

Image Maker September 2011.

In April Marko was commissioned by the SWPP to present a lecture tour to Cyprus, Greece and Malta.
The SWPP in-house magazine The ImageMaker has now run a second article about the tour with both an article written by Marko and also illustrated by images of Marko presenting the seminars taken by Paul Taylor. The article also features some of the resulting Fashion images taken by Marko at the seminars.
