Autumn Shoots for Bristol and Bath Magazines.
I love photographing fashion.
We had incredible models,(Emma Jane,Megan & Sarah Luisa from Gingersnap), fantastic location,(The Octagon,Milsom Place Bath), (wonderful hairstylist, (Rob Cartwright at Artizan,Bath),wonderful makeup artist,(Tracey Lear), great clothes retailers, (Garment Quarter, Pretty Eccentric, Fashion Bloodhound,Vintage to Voque, Chanii B, Quadri), and great props,(Eton Design, The Looking Glass, Feather & Black).
With such ingredients it's great to stir these all together and create a great visual feast for the eyes.
With the redoubtable Sophie as my assistant and huge support from Georgette and Sam from the Magazine it was a great day.
The Octagon is a Grade 11 listed former chapel. It used to be the HQ of the Royal Photographic Society until they moved to the outskirts of Bath a few years ago.
The building is an exceptionally elegant piece of architecture and it has a wonderful faded grandeur to it.
It was the perfect setting for this Autumn season shoot and ahectic ,hard but exhilarating day where everybody worked really hard now provides the images for The Bath Magazine,The Bristol Magazine and WestCountry Magazine,(out in a fortnight).
Huge thanks to all involved.
