Cherish the Dress Photoshoot.
I photographed a fantastic wedding last year at Goldney Hall, Clifton in Bristol.
The bride was Vickie and the Groom, Danny.
I was recommended to them by Vickie's sister Natalie who is the Events Co-ordinator at Goldney Hall and with whom I've worked on many occasions.
Goldney Hall is a fantastic place to get married.
It has wonderful architecture and an amazing garden complete with a Water Tower, a statue of Hercules, a Yew Tree Avenue, an Italian sunken Garden and the most incredible Grotto.

Vickie and Danny were absolute stars on the day and a year later we were out in a field south of Bristol photographing Vickie in her amazing wedding dress.
Being me I wanted to do something different and knowing that Vickie and Natalie have their own horses (and thoroughbreds at that), it was an opportunity not to be missed.
With fantastic makeup by Vickie's friend Tracey and additional horse wrangling by both Natalie and Natalie and Vickie's mother, Vickie gallantly posed on Rupert who being a bit of a star himself knew exactly what was required.
After Vickie had been photographed in her dress it was Natalie's turn and she was dressed to kill in her wonderful dressage uniform.
They say that you shouldn't work with children or animals but they obviously haven't worked with Rupert who was a true professional.
Vickie & Natalie were pretty special too!
For those who attend my lighting courses the images were shot using my Elinchrom Quadra Portable Lighting Kit supplied by The Flash Centre.
Using these lights you can key shift the lighting so that your principal subject is accurately lit and then under-expose for the background so that you can achieve the fabulous dark, moody skies you can see in the images.
There is minimal post-production of the images.
A selection of the photographs are shown below.
