After a well appreciated Christmas and New Year break Studio Marko has hit the ground running.
We have already taken three portrait sessions,(pictures to follow), and tomorrow Marko is of to Berlin.
Selvedge Magazine - January 2012
Selvedge Magazine has also started 2012 with a six page article about one of Marko's projects called "Portrait of Genius"
The original commission was awarded by the Whitewall Gallery in Milton Keynes and the images have been reviewed in the Guardian Newspaper.
It is a series of photographs of Classical super-model Daphne Selfe and each was loosely based around an Old Master painting. Titian, Rembrandt,Durer,Le Brun and Van Dyck were five of the eight artists re-interpreted photographically.
The images are accompanied by a text written by Nicola Donovan who is currently the recipient of a Phd bursary at Nottingham Trent University.
Selvedge is an international textile,fashion and crafts magazine and it is the third time that they have featured Marko's work in the last year.
The Magazine is available nationally and internationally and can be found in bookshops such as The National Gallery,The Tate and The Fashion Museum in Bath.

SWPP Convention-2012.
Marko will also be attending this year's SWPP Convention at The Hammersmith International Centre,(Novotel West).
This is the fourth year that Marko has lectured at this prestigious convention and this year he will be delivering a lecture on fashion photography and a Superclass hands-on seminar on lighting for portraits,weddings and fashion.
The SWPP Convention is a fabulous opportunity for photographers to meet, keep abreast of all the latest developments in the industry and refine their business and photographic skills.
I'm particularly looking forward to meeting up with the delegates from Cyprus, Greece and Malta that I met with whilst delivering seminars for the SWPP in those countries in 2011.
