Thermae Bath Spa.

Studio Marko was recently commissioned by the Thermae Bath Spa in Bath to shoot a selection of images for the spa's general promotional materials. The images are to be used for a variety of purposes including their website, brochures and posters.

   

Thermae Bath Spa is a remarkable day spa, combining the 'old and new'. The historic spa buildings, the Hot and Cross Baths blend with the contemporary design of the New Royal Bath. Together, they offer bathing in the warm, mineral-rich waters and a range of spa treatments designed to ease the body and soothe the mind.
Now, in the World Heritage city of Bath you can enjoy Britain's only natural thermal waters, as the Celts and Romans did over 2000 years ago.

The brief was to illustrate a variety of the treatments that the Thermae Bath Spa offers from Bamboo massages to hot stone therapy.

Thermae Bath spa wanted an innovative and creative approach to the imagery showing the luxurious surroundings and particular character of the spa enviroment. They wanted to show how warm and welcoming the spa is and how professional and caring the therapists are there.

This was the second time Marko Dutka had photographed here having previously photographed the first ever fashion shoot at the Spa for Bath Magazine in 2011. The images were subsequently used by Thermae Bath Spa,again for their promotional purposes).
